Message If you've seen my posts before I recently bought a tt z. Which in turn has gone from running awesome to barely driveable. At this point in time I've worked out a few kinks but decided to check the timing. Once at NOT it was reading anywhere from 25 to 30 at idle. It's supposed to be 15 if I'm not mistaken. I put it back to 15 and now I'm getting no turbo pull. You can hear them spool but that's as far as it gets. I've never had to use a timing light nor has anyone who helped. I had it set up correctly but I set the advance knob to 0 where I thought it should be. Is this right? If so what's my problem then? For what it's worth my car is still seeming to drop a cylinder once you drive it for more than 10 minutes and you can hear a popping from the exhaust with this timing setup whereas I didn't before. Answers? Suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated
